Stone Glacier redesigned the popular Sky Archer for 2020 to include an internal spotting scope pocket and a full-length side zipper that allows access to the main bag without having to remove your bow. The Sky Archer 6400 is one of the lightest expedition-sized packs on the market making it perfect for backcountry hunters. It's also convertible to 4,000 cubic inches in bivy mode using a unique top compression strap system.
Just inside the panel side zip are ¾” tri-slide buckles to attach Swing Out pockets and/or Camp Pockets for added organization. The Sky Archer also has two side pockets, the left side pocket is designed specifically for a tripod or arrow tube, the other larger right side pocket is for additional storage.
With 6,400 cubic inches of volume and 2,500 plus cubic inches of load shelf expansion, this pack can deliver on everything from trips measured in weeks to those measured in hours.
Which Stone Glacier Frame Is Right For You
Stone Glacier makes two ultralight, load-hauling hunting frames: the Krux and the Xcurve. Both frames are compatible with every SG bag and each feature adjustable lumbar support and an integrated Load Shelf rated for 150+ lbs.
The key difference between the two frames is: the Krux Frame uses straight carbon stays and the Xcurve Frame uses curved carbon stays. This difference accounts for the two most common back shapes and allows the wearer to achieve a comfortable fit depending on the size of their torso and the shape of their back.
